So many of our patients have some form of allergy, whether that is environmental, flea, or food, seasonal or continuous. We now offer an allergy test that scans for the most common allergens in our region. The HESKA allergy test is a simple blood test that we send out and normally obtain results in 1-2 weeks.
These allergy results can then be formulated into desensitization oral drops or injections, specific to your pet and their allergies. This desensitization helps minimize their allergy symptoms over time with the goal of making their symptoms much easier to manage.
If your pet suffers from allergies and you would be interested in a different kind of treatment, please don’t hesitate to ask us about the HESKA allergy testing at your next appointment!
